All payments to Montego Bay Community College (MBCC) using the online facilities are subject to the following conditions.

  1. credit/debit
    • MasterCard
    • Visa
    • KeyCard
  2. When you complete the online payment form, funds will be deducted from your credit/debit card in Jamaican (JMD) currency. Due to the way transactions are processed by the external banking sites, there may be a delay in updating your payment of 1 - 3 days.
  3. Payments are debited to the MBCC.
  4. Please note that:
    • Payments will be processed using 3D Secure.
    • Credit/debit card numbers are protected with a high level of encryption when transmitted over the Internet.
    • The MBCC does not have access to your credit/debit card details.
    • The MBCC will only store at maximum, the first 6 and last 4 digits of your credit/debit card number.
    • If successful, the MBCC will confirm that your payment was completed.
    • If unsuccessful, the MBCC will advise that your payment attempt was unsuccessful. You will not be advised why a payment has failed, therefore, you should contact your credit/debit card provider for details.
    • If your online payment fails, please contact the Accounts department to find out what other payment methods can be used, to ensure that you are not denied access to critical services of the MBCC.
  5. The MBCC will confirm your payment details via email which can also be printed.
  6. All the information you provide on the credit/debit card payment facility forms will be handled in accordance with the MBCC privacy statement.
  7. The MBCC Terms and Conditions for online credit/debit card payments are subject to change at any time. Each transaction shall be subject to the specific Terms and Conditions that were in place at the time of the transaction.
  8. Please keep a copy of the receipt for your records.
  9. We will answer your calls promptly and courteously and will respond to email  messages within 2 business days.
