As of April 2018, all applicants must apply online as well as complete a hard copy application form.

Once you submit your online application form, you are to record the application ID on the front cover of the hard copy application form. 

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, we have had to make changes to how we accept and process application forms.  Effective immediately, all application documents including the hard copy application form MAY be uploaded to your online application or submitted to the Collehe.  The hard copy application form can be found on our website at as well as in our application booklets.The application documents that you will need to upload or submiy are listed below.  These documents must be in PDF or image format (.png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif) in order to be uploaded. Certified copy as noted below means that the document is stamped and signed by a Justice of the Peace (J.P.) or high school Principal.  

  1. Certified copy of educational documents - CXC, GCE, SSC certificates (Applicants with international qualifications must have them assessed by the University Council of Jamaica and submit the completed assessment to the College).
  2. Certified copy of marriage certificate (where applicable)
  3. Certified copy of birth certificate/Deed Poll/Adoption certificate
  4. Certified copy of TRN
  5. Certified copy of Immunization Card
  6. Certified copy of Associate Degree (for persons applying to the CCCJ, JTS and CASE Bachelor Degree programmes.  Persons who have not received their Degrees as yet, must request an official transcript from the institution which must be received by the College in a sealed envelope).
  7. Certified copy of Food Handlers Permit (for persons applying to the Associate of Science in Culinary Arts and Associate of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management).
  8. Passport size photographs (taken within the last 6 months) 
  9. One (1) recent recommendation from:
    • A Minister of religion or Justice of the Peace, and 
    • The Principal of the last school attended or 
    • Your last employer 

You will upload your application documents at STEP 7 (DOCUMENTS) in the application process.  Simply choose your file (pdf or image format), select your document type from the drop down list, provide a description and press save.  Repeat this process for each document.  If after you have submitted your application, you need to add additional documents, simply log in at the RETURNING APPLICANTS section, click the link at the left that says APPLICATION HISTORY and then upload your additional documents there.  One you have submitted your application and you log back in, if you try to upload documents at step 7 of the application process, it will generate a new application.  You also have the option of taking your documents to the College.

We will no longer be collecting completed hard copies of the Confidential Referee Report form. Principals and employers are now being asked to download an electronic copy of this form from our website at which they will fill in electronically and return to us via email at If you have recently graduated from high school or will be completing high school this year, please kindly ask your Principal/ Principal’s Secretary to download, fill in and submit the form for you.  If you are currently employed, please kindly ask your employer to download, fill in and submit the form for you. 

If you have not yet paid the processing fee for your application, please do so immediately.  Since May 2020, the processing fee has been reduced to $500.00. 


Unfortunately, due to the COVID19 pandemic, the dates provided in the Important Dates and Notices page of the application booklet for our next General Information and interview scheduling session are no longer applicable.  In most cases, you will not attend an interview but rather the Dean on the Faculty will review your application and make a decision.  If you are accepted, you will be emailed and provided with details on how to collect your package.
